ILIFE V3s vs A4 vs V7 Review

There’s nothing quite like the convenience of a robot vacuum cleaner. It works when you’re away from home or while you’re enjoying other activities. Ilife offers a series of robotic vacuums that will change your life for the better. Let’s look at three of them to see which one is the best for you.

ILIFE V3s Robotic Vacuum Cleaner for Pets and Allergies Home, Pearl White

ILIFE V7

ILIFE V7

When robot vacuums first appeared on the market, they were often too expensive for the average consumer to justify buying one. But now Ilife’s V3s offers cleaning convenience at a cost that makes robotic vacuums accessible to many more homes. Pet owners will especially appreciate having the help in keeping fur and fuzz under control.

The V3s has a HEPA filter so it’s especially nice for people who suffer from allergies. Its low profile fits under most furniture so you don’t have to worry about dust bunnies hiding under the bed anymore.

The two side cleaning brushes and the roller brush underneath do a great job of picking up dirt, crumbs, and hairs off hard floors and low-nap carpet. It sweeps them into the 0.3-liter bin inside the vacuum so you can empty it out later. The V3s also comes with a mop cloth to remove dust from linoleum, tile, and wood surfaces as a finishing touch.

The robot is safe to use in rooms with obstacles as well as near stairs. Its sensors protect objects from being bumped hard and won’t allow the V3s to fall off an edge. It can climb up small inclines if needed.

While it works, this little vacuum is pretty quiet at just 55dB. That’s just a little louder than a conversation at home and softer than the noise of traffic in the street.

The rechargeable battery lasts for about 100 minutes of cleaning. When it starts to get low on power, the V3s returns to its home base to refill for the next job. It takes between 250 and 300 minutes to recharge.

Choose from the four cleaning modes by pressing the clean button on top or using the remote control. You can do automatic cleaning, spot cleaning for spills, edge cleaning around baseboards, or schedule a time in the future for the robot to work.

More features of the Ilife V3s Robotic Vacuum Cleaner:

  • Comes with manual, remote control, extra HEPA filter (because it needs changing about once a month), extra side brush, one cleaning brush, AC adapter and charging dock, and a mop cloth

ILIFE A4 Robot Vacuum Cleaner, Titanium Gray

ILIFE A4

While the V3s is very good for cleaning hard-surface floors, the Ilife A4 can handle carpet a lot better as well as tile, linoleum, and wood. While it has a HEPA filter, it does not offer the dry mop mode. It also has a longer battery life and a Max Mode for intensive cleaning.

The A4 can work for up to 150 minutes before it sends itself back to the dock to recharge. You can send it to vacuum using just the button on top, or control it with the remote. Use the remote control to schedule the times you want the robot to clean for you.

Just like the V3s, the A4 has sensors that keep it from falling down steps and bumping into things. The different design of the bristle brush along with the suction power of the motor does a good job on carpets. The dust bin is also larger on the A4. It can hold up to 450mL before it needs to be emptied.

ILIFE V7 Smart Robot Vacuum Cleaner, Bluetooth Control

In the spirit of ever advancing improvements to their products, Ilife released the V7 Smart Robot Vacuum Cleaner. It has a Bluetooth interface so you can control it with a smartphone app and not just with the button on top or the remote control. You can use the app for scheduling cleanings just like you can do with the remote control.

Similar to the V3s, the V7 has a dust bin that holds up to 300mL of debris. Its powerful suction allows it to work on carpet, although not very well on shag or long nap types. It’s really best on hard floors like wood and tile. The HEPA filter keeps dust, pet dander, and other dirt from recirculating into your home as the robot cleans.

Like the other two robots described above, the Ilife V7 has two side brushes and a long brush underneath. It also comes with a dry dust mop attachment that you can place on the underside behind the main brush. This does a final pass that makes floors look and feel really clean.

The V7 has sensors that keep it from dropping off stairs or bumping into most objects. It also knows when it’s time to recharge its battery and will return to its docking base automatically.

Recommendation

Since all three of these robot vacuums use a HEPA filter, all of them are a great help for allergy sufferers and asthmatics. The robot can clean your home floors while you’re home or away and won’t stir up additional dust to cause problems.

The A4 is the best to use on carpet as long as the nap isn’t too long. It also has the largest dust bin.

If you’re struggling to control pet hair, either the V3s or the A4 would be a big help for you. The A4 has a larger debris bin that’s handy when your pets are shedding.

If dust is a problem on your hardwood floors, consider getting the V3s or the V7 since they both come with a dry dust mop attachment.

If you’re a fan of controlling gadgets with your phone, the Bluetooth capability of the V7 may be just what you’re looking for in a vacuum.
